The presentation will take about 30-45 minutes at the start with snacks and drinks on offer. The bike ride to Weingut Pieper will take us about 40 min to 1 hour, depending on stops
Your bike and relevant gear, a bottle of water, and some cash if you'd like to sample the wine at Weingut Pieper!

Some small snacks and drinks beforehand will be provided by us.
Make sure to wear comfortable, light clothing and sunscreen!
Exploring the World of Bike Agritourism
You are warmly invited to join us for a relaxed group bike ride along the Rhine toward Rhöndorf, where we will make a stop at the beautiful Vinothek of Weingut Pieper, exploring the theme of bike agritourism.

The ride is intended to be social, scenic, and beginner-friendly, offering a chance to enjoy the riverside route together while connecting directly with one of the region’s local producers.

Bike Agritourism Resource Sharing Session
Additionally, we will be sharing the conclusion of our Bike Agritourism project: a European initiative exploring the connection between sustainable tourism, cycling culture, local agriculture, and rural communities.​
During the presentaion, we will share our project’s digital resources, learn about our international activities and pilot routes, and connect with others passionate about greener and more community-oriented travel experiences.
​From scenic cycling routes through orchards and countryside landscapes to conversations around local food systems and sustainable tourism practices, Bike Agritourism has focused on creating meaningful ways to reconnect people with nature, local producers, and slower forms of travel.
